Will you go to Karlovy Vary in Czech? If so, you'll find there's stalls there selling boxes and boxes of waffles. The waffle has a mark on it and it's quite cheap. 30 CZK a box. This may be a good idea for 同事的手信.
Hi,I just got gone to Budapest, and the thing in there are quite cheap. There is a Budapest card, but i think if you are not really interested in museum, better buy transport 套票,rather than a card. and most museum are free or very cheap , such as national museum. and u still need to pay to enter some museum even u have got a card. I only used it for transport so it is not worth.
And in Budapest , u must have to try a snack called Langos , it tastes like 油炸鬼,but very cheap only about HUF 220. You can find it in 2nd floor in Market hall. Hungraian food is very nice, u could try the fish soup and chicken dumpling. There is a restaurant in pedestrain street call "Hotel Taverna Szallod", the food is nice but not very expensive.and there is a waffle shop in pedestrain street. the waffle is very nice and cheap as well.
And you have to see the nice view of chain bridge as well.
刺繡 is very famous in Hungary you can find many shop of 手信around budapest. Thing in pedestrain street and market hall are cheaper.
Oh, and if u go to restaurant or cafe , when you pay the bill and you want to give some tips, remember to prepare the exact amount. You cannot leave the tips after they change the money back to you. And i went to a cafe, i don't have any small notes, so i have to pay for HUF 500 more for a cup of coffee. very expensive >_<
And the weather in Budapest is warm but quite cold at night, remeber to take a jumper.
I changed all the money before i go to budapest so i didn't use the currency exchange service in BUD and i use pound to change. actually u can use euro in some tourist place.
the euro to hungarain forit is about 1:250
to czech koruna is about 1:30
by the way, i will go to czech next monday as well. i am going to bring some euro and pound to exchange. I foundthe exchange rate is higher in Bud than in UK.
